Guide for Visitors
Request for checking OPAC
Before visiting the Science Library, please search the materials you want to read using the OPAC. Please make sure of the following.

No letter of introduction is needed. Please bring your ID Card.
Entering
- Please fill out the form at the library counter.
- You can enter the Science Library only for the purpose of reading the materials.
- Please be quiet and do not eat or drink in the library.
- Please refrain from any act that may cause an annoyance to other users.
- Please avoid using the library in January, February, July and August due to the exam period. The period follows the Central Library.
Reading
- Materials except for rare books and AV materials are all on the open stacks.
- After using them, please return to where they were.

Borrowing
- As a rule, visitors can not borrow the materials. Visitors can order materials from the Science Library through your organization's library or the nearest public library.
Photocopying
- Copies can be made only in accordance with the Copyright Law.
- Photocopy machine in the Science Library is available only for faculty and graduate students of School of Science. If you wish to photocopy, you can temporarily borrow it.
- Please note that the materials temporarily brought out from the library should be returned on the same day to the library counter. (Do not put them in the book drop outside the library.)
- You need to leave your ID at the library counter, when taking the book out for copying.
