Library Database vs Google Scholar    

vs Google What tools do you use to gather information for your academic research and writing?
Google, Google scholar, OPAC, ProQuest, Web of Science... There are many options.
Even with the tools you normally use, there are even more effective ways to use them, depending on your research field and research objectives.
In this workshop, we will compare ProQuest, a library and academic database, and Google Scholar, from the perspective of obtaining information necessary for academic research.
Let's learn about the characteristics of each one, their advantages and disadvantages, and how to gather academic information more effectively.
